20120214 Ken Reid Ring-necked Pheasant & Woodchuck
Photos taken during a Fleming College field trip to Ken Reid Conservation Area. The Ring-necked Pheasant tracks were a highlite observation never before seen during previous years of the course. During the next day with another class, the Pheasant was seen and photographed. Recent mild weather was likely the reason for a mid-winter activity by the Woodchuck evidenced by the discovery of scat at the den entrance.
