The Lighthouse Interpretive Centre was a warm shelter from the chilly weather. I purchased some shirts and a windbreaker jacket at the gift shop.

Volunteers with the Friends of Presqu'ile were selling tasty lunches from the Barbeque - great idea for raising funds!

Here is a small group of Long-tailed Ducks. These ducks were relatively common on Saturday.

Several spotting scopes were set up for park visitors to see the waterfowl.

Bruce Parker is a volunteer with the Friends of Presqu'ile Park and is also the webmaster for the Willow Beach Field Naturalists. Other WBFN members were scheduled to assist over the weekend, including Elizabeth Kellogg and Roger Frost. Thank you to all the volunteers for their contributions.

This viewing shelter is located at Calf Pasture and faces the inner bay to the north-east and east of Presqu'ile. Many ducks were seen to the east of this shelter.
