20140609 Great Blue Heron

Photos of a Great Blue Heron looking for prey from shoreline docks. The Heron walked with an obvious limp and as shown in the photos, it clearly favoured the left leg. The leg joint looked swollen. I wonder if Herons get arthritis!? The more likely event was an injury.
