20141114 Canada Goose
Small flock of Canada Geese are shown here feeding in a shallow bay on aquatic plants. They were displaying behaviour more commonly seen in "dabbling ducks" where the head and neck are submerged while the body tips with rear-end pointing up. I think the reason for this behaviour was for the Geese to access aquatic plants that were now deeper since the surface mats had died off.
