20151108 WBFN Birding
The Willow Beach Field Naturalists (WBFN) had 21 members led by Roger Frost go birding at the Bewdley Conservation Area and Garden Hill Conservation Area. Birding was slow at Rice Lake CA but the walk was very nice. We did see Some Bonapart's Gulls near Bewdley. The pond at Garden Hill Conservation Area had many birds. The most common were Ring-billed Gull and Canada Goose. Other species in smaller numbers included: Mallard, Greater Yellowlegs, Black Duck, Green-winged Teal, Ring-necked Duck and Common Merganser.
