20160228 Lame Crow
A resident American Crow was observed periodically throughout this past winter and was notable by the presence of a lame foot. The foot could often be seen dangling while the Crow was in flight. When the Crow attempted travel on the ground or snow it had to hop - walking was not possible. These photos document the tracks in snow. Next to a normal Crow track is a hole in the snow created by the deformed foot.
