20160512 Cobourg Birding
Birds and scenery were observed during a guided bird outing with Margaret Bain of the Willow Beach Field Naturalists (WBFN). This outing was offered by Margaret during the WBFN Annual Meeting Silent Auction and I was the lucky recipient. We visited several of Margaret's birding hotspots including Cobourg Harbour, Lucas Point Park, Chub Point, pond near Wicklow Point Park and pond along Calnan Road. A highlite from this outing was my first ever sighting of a Clay-colored Sparrow, heard and seen near Lucas Point Park. Many thanks to Margaret for a wonderful morning of birding.
