The same mated pair of Common Loons with juvenile photographed on June 10th are shown here two weeks later in the first three photos. The remaining photos show a second family with one adult and two chicks. These were found in the large bay near Bailey’s Bay Cottage and RV Resort. Initially I observed five adults. Near the two chicks there were three adults engaged in conflict. One of the mated pair adults chased away the third adult Loon.
