20190301 PFN Tracking Windy Ridge
The first tracking outing to Windy Ridge Conservation Area was a success for five members of the Peterborough Field Naturalists (PFN). The ever reliable Porcupine showed evidence of activity at the old Basswood tree. There was a good accumulation of tracks over the previous few days. We had a good list of species that included: Red Fox, Coyote, Masked Shrew, Northern Short-tailed Shrew, Snowshoe Hare, American Mink, Red Squirrel, and Ruffed Grouse.
