20190704 American Mink
A very unusual sight was a family group of four juvenile American Mink swimming across the lake. They traveled from the mainland to an island, swimming at a brisk pace. The four Mink were so packed together that at a distance it appeared there was one mammal. There was no sign of an adult. The juveniles were about half adult size.
