20191019 PFN Cranberry Marsh
Fourteen members of the Peterborough Field Naturalists (PFN) met at Cranberry Marsh for a hawk watch and bird outing. Hawks were in low numbers due to unfavourable winds. In general, the birding was good with 34 species documented in total. One of the highlights was close observation of waterfowl along the spit between Cranberry Marsh and Lake Ontario. By mid afternoon, several members moved to Whitby Harbour to observe a rare Fish Crow.
