20200101 PFN Silent Lake
Nineteen members and guests of the Peterborough Field Naturalists (PFN) went on a nature walk along Bonnie's Pond Trail in Silent Lake Provincial Park. Recent snowfall coated the trees creating a beautiful winter landscape. The walk was a part of the "First Day Hike" initiative run by Ontario Parks. Along the way we did some birding and tracking. Of note was the trail and slide of a Northern River Otter. Thanks goes to Sue Paradisis for organizing and leading this walk.
