20200821 Muskrat Kill
Evidence of a fresh Muskrat kill was discovered on my dock. The predator remains unknown but I speculate Mink. If any one has other thoughts, please let me know. How I identified Muskrat was by the teeth that were still visible in the mangled head. The majority of the body parts are internal organs such as stomach and intestine. It is amazing how quickly the Yellowjackets found the site and they were busy carrying away chunks of Muskrat muscle.
