A lovely spring day of nature observation was rewarded with birds, turtles and a dramatic event with an Osprey trying to lift a Northern Pike out of the water. When the Osprey started to sink in the water, it let go and lost its prey. The Pike was photographed floating in the water with obvious wounds.
