Large numbers of Gulls and Turkey Vultures gathered at the landfill for easy food pickings. Soon after this photo opportunity, the Vultures departed for the south. Around the lagoons there was an active migration which included several Sparrow and Warbler species and Ruby-crowned Kinglets.
