Despite cool and cloudy conditions, a road trip through Peterborough County was productive for several reasons. First was observing a flock of 27 Tundra Swans on lower Chemong Lake. Note that the photos are poor due to distance and air turbulence. The Swans were feeding and roosting while on a brief stop during their migration. The second highlight was observing Greater White-fronted Goose (4) in a field near Bailieboro. Wood Duck, Mallard and Bufflehead were found near Hastings.
