While on the way to Presqu'ile Provincial Park there was a fortunate observation of the Cattle Egret. This bird has been observed regularly by birders along Huff Rd near Brighton. It hangs out with the cattle and horses looking for various invertebrates for a meal. On this occasion the Cattle Egret showed off its easy relationship with the horses who seemed happy to let the bird approach very close.
