20221118 PFN Waterfowl
Twelve members of the Peteborough Field Naturalists (PFN) led by Drew Monkman visited the Lakefield Marsh and Lakefield Lagoons in search of waterfowl. The weather was winter-like but that did not dampen the fun had while birding. Ben Taylor kept eBird lists. Eleven bird species were found at the Marsh and 10 species at the Lagoons, with six species of waterfowl altogether. One of the highlights was a good side-by-side viewing of Mallard and American Black Duck.
