Members of the Willow Beach Field Naturalists (WBFN) led by Roger Frost visited Presqu'ile Provincial Park. We searched for shorebirds species and observed a few including Semipalmated Plover, Semipalmated Sandpiper and Baird's Sandpiper. A Merlin disrupted the flock and captured one of the shorebirds. Along the way in, several butterfly species were observed. Other birding locations in the park brought the bird tally for the day to 50 species.
